AIIMS
All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi conducts AIIMS MBBS exam for admission to undergraduate courses offered by fifteen AIIMS institutes. The authority has announced AIIMS MBBS 2020 exam dates, which is to be held on May 30 and 31. AIIMS offers admission to a total of 1,205 MBBS seats available in institutes located in New Delhi, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Jodhpur, Patna, Raipur, Rishikesh, Guntur, Nagpur, Bathinda, Kalyani, Raebareli, Deogarh, Gorakhpur and Bibinagar (Telangana). Seven (7) seats in AIIMS, New Delhi are reserved for foreign nationals.
The application form of AIIMS MBBS 2020 will be released in the last week of November 2019. From the last7 year, a new PAAR registration facility has been introduced by AIIMS, New Delhi for filling the AIIMS application form. The procedure of application form can be filled in two stages AIIMS MBBS basic registration and final registration. It is mandatory for aspirants to complete the basic registration in order to generate the code for AIIMS MBBS 2020 application Only candidates who have generated Registration Unique Code (RUC) can participate for the final registration process.
AIIMS MBBS 2020 is conducted in computer-based mode containing 200 multiple choice and reason assertive type questions. The exam will consist of questions from Physics, Chemistry, Biology, General Knowledge and Aptitude & Logical Thinking. Only three hours and thirty minutes will be provided to complete the test.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Minimum Age Limit:- Candidates taking the AIIMS entrance exam must be 17 years of age or should attain the same by December 31, 2020.
- Academic Qualification:- As per the current requirement, a candidate must have qualified Class 12 or an equivalent examination from a recognized board (CBSE/ISC/State board) wherein she/he should have Biology, Physics, Chemistry and English as main subjects. If a candidate has passed the qualifying examination from a foreign country then a document stating that the qualification is equivalent to Class 12 must be shown. The test-taker must also ensure that a minimum of 60% marks has to be scored in English, Biology, Chemistry and Physics if belonging to unreserved or OBC category. For a candidate belonging to PwD/SC/ST category, the minimum marks required should be at least 50% to fulfill AIIMS MBBS eligibility criteria 2019.
- Nationality:- Indian nationals, foreign nationals, OCIs, and NRIs are eligible to seek admission to MBBS course. Except for foreign nationals, taking AIIMS MBBS 2019 entrance exam is mandatory to obtain a seat at any of the nine Institutions.
